Robinson Cano is center of Mets universe with so much at stake
The New York Mets season has Robinson Cano at the center of it. It will be up to him, in part, to determine the success.
He was brought over from the Mariners last off season along with Edwin Diaz in what was a blockbuster trade. This past year saw Cano post career worst.
His defense is that he was hit on the hands 5 times during the year. This led to a couple of IL stints along with twice being on it for leg injuries.
At 37, many question what he has left in the tank. This is important since he still have 4 years left on his contract at $96 million.
The New York Mets and GM Brodie Van Wagonen are married to him.
