Here's another sign the US dollar is too strong: Burgers
For those of you who are not familiar with the Big Mac Index, it is a measure of relative purchase power. The humor lies in the fact it uses a McDonald's Big Mac as the benchmark. In essence, wherever the Big Mac costs more than it is in the USA, that country's currency is stronger than the USD.

The article has examples of such price differences. The point is that the US Dollar has been doing well compared to other countries' currencies. The question is, what does that has to do with anything?
Well, for one thing, we have heard about currency manipulation
in the news for some time. I find it somewhat ironic that our government accuses of others of manipulation. It does make you wonder if the US is the real currency manipulator of all time.
Putting that aside, at what point do you think the world should try a different index? Say, The Bitcoin Index
? Not so much the way Coindesk, et al. present it, but the way to demonstrate purchase power?
Fiat is most likely never going to disappear. They might as well be reborn into their digital, centralized, token form. They would be no different than the Steem Engine tokens you are currently earning.
But dang, I would love a $2 Big Mac in Russian rubles.
