FBI investigating the 'violent ideologies' of Dayton shooter
Sometimes, it's hard to believe that FBI had no idea of such potential dangerous folks. The cynical side of me feels they allow some things to happen to push an agenda. Or, are they understaffed?
Point is, there are more people who believe in "Schrodinger's Big Brother" than I thought. Oh, government knows what you are doing and they aim to screw you over. But hey, they are inefficient, incompetent, and clueless. Pick one. They can't be both.
To give them some credit, I do understand a certain aspect of that line of work. General public would never know if you are doing your job spot on. But, everyone knows when you have screwed up. I have seen that time and again among my peers at work.
In tragedies like this, one can only wonder if the US is on the brink of civil war. The rift is growing. And when people no longer share the same values, they cannot coexist. The politicians and their advocates do not ease the tension between people either.
This path will only end in sadness.
