Bitcoin created a former Florida policeman Dave Kleiman.

Jeff Garzik began working with the creator of Bitcoin cryptocurrency, hiding under the pseudonym Satosi Nakamoto, since 2010. Soon he became the third most important programmer of the project, only Gavin Andresen and Nakamoto himself made a greater contribution. Garzyk was engaged in Bitcoin until 2014, after which he went to other projects also related to cryptocurrencies.Dave Kleiman was a police officer. Jeff Garzik said that when he worked on Bitcoin code, he had the impression that the developer was not a professional, but a talented self-taught person. 

This hypothesis is confirmed by the fact that in February 2018, relatives of Dave Kleiman filed a lawsuit against the Australian Craig Wright, who claimed his rights to Bitcoin.Recall that the first version of Bitcoin was released in 2009.
