Why would a Cypriot be part of this?

If it were the northern part of Cyprus protesting, then I could understand the Greek Cypriot interest in the story. Unless the Cypriot is actually a N Cypriot (Turkish) minister. If that is the case, my best wishes to him and his family, as they are not to be of this Earth for long - their master is not just a tyrant, he is a brutal tyrant who responds with extreme measures at any criticism of himself.
