Minister links lower birth rate to more unmarried women | The Myanmar Times

An increase of unmarried women is one of the causes of the country’s falling birth rate, according to U Thein Swe, minister of Labour, Immigration and Population.

ျမန္မာျပည္မွာ လူဦးေရတုိးတက္မႈနည္း က်ဆင္းေနတာက အိမ္ေထာင္မျပဳတဲ့ အမ်ဳိးသမီးေတြနဲ႔ သက္ဆုိင္ေနတယ္လုိ႔ ထင္ပါတယ္။ လူပ်ဳိႀကီးေတြလည္း ပါမွာပါ။ ၂၀၁၆ လူဦးေရစစ္တမ္းအရ အိမ္ေထာင္စုတစ္စုမွာ ကေလး(၄) ဦးႏႈန္းရွိတယ္လုိ႔ ဆုိေပမယ့္ ႏုိင္ငံအေနနဲ႔ကေတာ့ (၂) (၃) ေယာက္ပဲရွိပါတယ္။ ဒါက အိမ္ေထာင္မျပဳတဲ့ မိန္းကေလးမ်ားေၾကာင့္ပါတယ္။ အိမ္ေထာင္မျပဳေသးသူမ်ား ျမန္ျမန္ အိမ္ေထာင္ျပဳၾကပါ။
