Fading Sun and Sandy Cliffs- Zipping Around Before Sundown- The U.S.S. Minnowprize!

in #dji7 years ago (edited)

As the sun slipped behind the clouds, The Captain took the Phantom up for one last flight before the night fell on the island!

(And we slipped into a cocktail fueled coma...)

In this video you will see the last few moments of the sunset, the incredible coast line, and get some idea as to the MASSIVE scale of Fraser Island!

When they say it is the largest sand island in the world, you don't quite get the true magnitude until you actually see it!

Throw on some tunes and take a 9 minute look around at the expanses of trees and sand!

Fraser Island stretches an astounding 120KM! It has a tropical rainforest, pools, rivers, and lakes! (fresh water AND salt!)

In fact, it is so large with so many sights to see, that we will have to return to see the rest of the island!

We hope you enjoy the look around from high above!
