RE: DIY One Meter of Beer with old pallet wood!

in #diy7 years ago

We definitely drink a lot of beer here in Wisconsin, too! This looks like a fun project that I may have to try making. I really like the use of dowels rather than screws to join everything. And using peanut oil as a finish is something I wasn't aware of. It might be cool to also make a smaller version for beer or whiskey tasting glasses (tasting flight). I have plenty of other construction projects around the house on my todo list, but this is definitely going on the list.

yes you definitely should make one! you only need some scrap wood pieces and some time. You can take it to your trivia contest to serve your buddies after the quiz. I said after because I know that quizzing + alcohol is not a good match lol. thanks for resteeming!

Haha, it's funny you should say that because that's exactly what we do. We wait until after the contest to start drinking :-) I think that would be a perfect use for the "beer meter".

My girlfriend is doing a lot of quizzes and sometimes, very sporadic I join a quiz. I start drinking beers from the beginning but after a few rounds the alcohol is kicking in and I loose my concentration. I even don't listen to the questions any more. haha.
