DIY Bookshelf for your desk

in #diy8 years ago

Hi there everyone! Today I decided to make myself a bookshelf/holder for some of my books and papers that are laying around on my desk , which makes it look untidy and just cluttered .
Then I thought why not share the process and maybe I can help someone with the same problem I had.
Working at a school and learning at the same time can be rough so there is always a ton of books and papers laying around making me go mad because I need all of the books and papers at hand but the mess is just to much for a person to handle.
So here goes my DIY Bookshelf/holder.

Firstly what you will need is some gift wrapping paper, or just a big coloured page, whatever you fancy since this is for you, some glitter glue, scissors , sellotape and a breakfast cereal box of any kind.

Then I took a marker just to show you exactly where I cut the box to make a folder look, then I started cutting away.

Then the box should look like a little holder .

Then I started to cover the box with wrapping paper and the sellotape.

Then you have your finished bookshelf!
