DIY Tutorial: Super Easy Zipped Cushion Cover/Tutorial: Sarung Bantal Kursi Cara Super Mudah

Do you want to have a new look in your room? It is surprising that there is a cheap way to do it. I’ve learnt that one of the easiest ways is to change your cushion cover. Try a new color or motif to refresh the mood of your room.

In this post, I’d like to share with you how to make a zipped cushion cover. Don’t worry about the zipper thing. I promise it is going to be super easy.

Let’s get started. The finished size of the cover is 40x40cm.

Materials:

1. 1 piece of fabric for the front side, 44x44cm
2. 2 pieces of fabric for the back side, 24x24cm
3. 1 zipper, the same length as the fabric, a longer one is preferrable

Instructions:

1. Place one piece of back side fabric on the zipper, near the zipper bottom stop, facing down .

1. Sew across the top with the needle close to the zipper teeth.

1. Zig zag stitch to prevent the fabric from fraying.

1. Pull the fabric away from the zipper.

1. Take another back side of fabric, fold one long edge as long as 2 cm.

1. Facing down, place the folded piece on the zipper with a little overlapping with the previously sewn piece. Pin in place.

1. Sew across the top with the needle close to the zipper teeth.

1. This is what you will have.

1. Take the front piece of fabric, place it on the back piece, right sides together. Pin in place. Put a label if you have one. Don’t forget to open the zipper halfway in this stage.

1. Sew all the way around the 4 sides using 2 cm seam allowance.

1. Cut the excessive zipper.

12.Zig zag stitch all the way around.

1. Turn right side out.

14.Voila! It’s done.

And this is the back side.

Make as many as you want and enjoy a different look in your room.

Mau ganti suasana ruangan? Ada cara yang murah lho yaitu hanya dengan mengganti sarung bantal sofa/kursi. Warna dan motif yang berbeda akan membuat suasana ruangan lebih segar.

Dalam postingan kali ini, saya ingin berbagi tutorial membuat sarung bantal sofa dengan penutup resleting. Jangan khawatir soal resletingnya, tutorial saya ini sangat gampang

Mari kita mulai. Oh ya, ukuran jadi sarung bantal ini 40x40cm.

Bahan:

1. 1 lembar kain untuk bagian depan, 44x44cm
2. 2 lembar kain untuk bagian belakang, 24x24cm
3. 1 buah resleting yang panjangnya sama atau lebih dari panjang kain

Cara membuat:

1. Letakkan satu lembar kain belakang di atas resleting menghadap bawah.
2. Jahit dengan posisi jarum sedekat mungkin dengan gigi resleting.
3. Jahit zig zag untuk mencegah kain terburai.
4. Tarik kain menjauhi resleting.
5. Ambil kain bagian belakang satu lagi, lipat 2 cm.
6. Letakkan di atas kain belakang yang sudah dijahit tadi.
7. Jahit dengan posisi jarum sedekat mungkin dengan gigi resleting.
8. Jadinya seperti ini.
9. Ambil kain bagian depan, letakkan di atas kain belakang, bagian baik ketemu baik. Sematkan jarum pentul jika perlu. Kalau punya label, bisa dipasang di tahap ini. Jangan lupa juga untuk membuka resleting setengahnya.
10. Jahit sekeliling dengan kampuh 2 cm.
11. Potong resleting yang berlebih.
12. Jahit zig zag sekeliling.
13. Balik.
    14.Sudah jadi!

Karena bikinnya super gampang, teman-teman bisa membuat sebanyak mungkin. Nikmati suasana ruangan yang berbeda dengan sarung bantal yang berbeda.
