not nasty constructor

in #diy8 years ago

There are many people who likes tactics called: DIY.  Mostly this kind of thinking leads you to new projects where you are assembling something, constructing and making different structures, robotics, mechanics and electronics. In most cases projects usually don't make you happy, you just drop it or it's functionality isn't  good.

Why this happens?

    1. Out of needed parts.

    2. Crafts or parts been broken while assembling.

    3. Mess in your construction.

    4. Variety of different sizes, standards leads to unstable constructions.

    5. Imposable to complete your project just of few stupid parts...

Now let's think about robotics. This field for DIY guys is quite hard, firstly of the mechanics.

Well yes, it's not a problem  when you have 3D printer. :)

But if you don't have one? And still want to make at least simple robot without big mess, tons of different parts, lots of fails while doing mechanics?

Seems that some guys found solutions. They made standardized mechanic parts for different constructions.

And what they show is quite impressing. Seems it's not hard to assembly any shape or size robot and make it work, they offering simplicity at mechanics.
In some other clips they are also offering electronics. But they are still developing something. So waiting for more information from them.

Thanks your reading.:)
