How did you get into blockchain and crypto?

Just a quick question for fellow Steemers. How did you get into blockchain, crypto, and the like? I started dabbling with Bitcoin mining awhile back and didn't do much with it. But recently I came across crypto collectible bobbleheads on MLB Champions and decided to look more into it. Since then I've learned that particular operation is a bit shady but I've also learned that the crypto community is overall pretty awesome!

There are so many great projects to check out in blockchain that I don't know where to start! Have any that you recommend? I'm still getting my feet wet in this space and would love to know how you all got started!
