There is a famous believe that people from Lagos do not know how to pronounce the sound |r|.

I am just hearing of this, it's probably just an anomaly. It could also be that I never noticed. I'll start to pay attention to the way Lagos guys speak.

I can make the sound now at will but I'll need a lot of practice making it my default way of speaking.
