Happy International Women’s Day. Here is a list of the women Holding Sway in the Cryptoworld & Blockchain Industry

For a supposedly male-dominated sphere, some women have distinguished themselves enough to be at the top of the industry. Here is a compilation of some of the very powerful and influential women in the Crypto world.

1.  Elizabeth Rossiello 

She is the co-founder of Bitpesa, a Kenya-based Cryptocurrency Exchange. She has a postgraduate degree in International finance from Columbia University. The firm has raised more than $10 million in series A founding led by  Greycroft Partners in the year 2017.

Bitpesa has extended its services to other African countries including Tanzania, Uganda and Nigeria

2.  Joyce Kim 

Joyce is the co-founder and CTO of stellar.org. She was formerly a venture capitalist at Freestyle capital and also an entrepreneur; she co-founded simplehoney, a mobile commerce startup. She had her education in Columbia, Cornell and Harvard. She has worked on and presented a cryptocurrency platform for banks, governmental agencies and even the United Nation

3.  Perianne Boring 

Perianne is the founder of digital chamber of commerce. She is also a regular Forbes magazine contributor. In the year 2015, she was named as the Top woman in Bitcoin by COINDESK. She had her education at the University of Florida and Georgetown University McDonough School Of Business.

4.  Amber Baldet 

Amber claimed she taught herself how to code when she was just 11. An executive director at the JP Morgan Blockchain center of Excellence, she studied political science and economics as a double major at the University of Florida. She was named as the no 9 on the Coindesk's list of Most influential people in blockchain in the year 2017.

5.  Kathryn Haun

She is a lecturer at Stanford University and there she teaches regulation and the technology behind cryptocurrency. She chairs the Audit committee at COINBASE as one of the directors

6.  Jen Greyson 

Jen is the CEO of Powered by Neureal Jennifer and she has involved herself in several cryptocurrency projects in the past. She is a global leader in the field and has empowered several women in her own capacity

7.  Arianna Simpson

She is an early stage investor in more than crypto-related startups. She has been in the industry for awhile and Coinbase named her as one of the Top 4o women in Bitcoin.
