What's been going on with me?? - Why have I not been on Steemit?

Why have I not been on Steemit, or even finish my own Seven Day Running Challange?

What was supposed to be my Day 4 of running turned into a severe stomach pain. It happened out of no where with no real explanation for the first few days. I was trying to stick it out, despite the fact that I could hardly sleep, only felt "okay" laying straight on my back, and could barely hold down water. Running wasn't even an option.

I felt pitiful.

Trip to the Emergency Room

I couldn't take it anymore. And honestly I don't think my boyfriend could either before he practically forced me out of bed to the emergency room. It was Saturday night at this point. I went in there and miserably and stubbornly filled out the paper work, still telling him "I'm fine. Really!"

I first saw the nurse, who wasn't much of a good one. They needed to take blood for a test but not unless she blew out my vein (although that could have been the dehydration I was later diagnosed). She pulled out the first IV so clumsily. I thought in order to top the blood from dripping down my arm, they're supposed to be ready with a cotton ball. But the blood dripped down my arm and landed on the floor and the bed. The second IV was hardly different. So at this point I was so annoyed and in the worst pain of my life; or at least I thought.

She tells me I'm about to get an ass shot in my muscle! I almost refuse but I was so desperate. It hurt so freakin' bad, I forgot about my stomach for a few seconds. She said it'd kick in in about 20 minutes. Well, 30 minutes roll by and I'm still hating life. So they decide to give me some Ibuprofen through my IV.

The doctor comes in with the results from the blood test, and tells me i have ketones in my blood. I've never heard of those before, but she's telling me it's from not eating enough, dehydration, or throwing up lately. So I'm telling her I have been counting calories to lose weight of course, but I don't know why I'd be so dehydrated because I drink plenty water. And I threw up once the first day. My boyfriend and I were so confused. But, then the nurse comes in and starts mentioning the keto diet. I'm like, but I've just been eating less, not different. For those of you who don't know what the keto diet is, it's basically reducing consuming carbohydrates so your body can start eating the stored fat in your body. In Conclusion...

At the end of it all, they send me home with a prescription for 600mg tablets of ibuprofen. I've taken more medicine than I have in about a year. It's only numbing the pain here and there but always comes back. Since day one, I've been thinking it's just constipation, but maybe it's something worse. So tomorrow morning I'm going to my Doctor to see what she says, and hopefully get this stomach pain figured out.
