Anyway ladies and gentlemen, you can buy diamonds and jewlery with bitcoin. Maybe we can even fund blood diamonds trade in africa with them selling or us buying with bitcoin. Maybe some day, some jewler has an idea, goes to africa on some remote location, asks around, is interested in buying diamonds. Maybe we can pay to the miner who happened to find it in the fist place. Directly buying from the source so that there wont be any disgusting middle men...
Capitalism just might be the disgusting middle man who gets payed providing products to satisfy peoples wants.
Stop wanting these things and there is no need for capitalism.

@reliikki As per my view, A jewel tie happens substantially more once in a while than more typical considerations, similar to pinpoint incorporations or precious stone plumes. The most Pure is Best? there was some sort of way to check for real diamonds from grown or manufactured. It was with ultraviolet that you can see. So in the end it looks the same until we get scanned with ultraviolet :O
Well if you want to cut out the middle man, I would suggest looking at the cryptocurrency VeChain as it hopes to make the supply chain of a product more visible.
And yes it would be amazing to do that.
But with Debeers owning more than enough diamonds to supply the world, and lab grown diamonds coming into existence this may not be the trade to enter.

Interesting article, the thing with diamonds is, that they dont need much to be found, shovel and a strong back. it only takes a miner.
I mean they need a lot of time to find them. Sure if you get a thousand people seraching a river you might find one fast enough... But 1 person could be looking for a while I would think

Also, I don't think it's morally right to post that you want to "fund blood diamonds trade" with bitcoin.
It's absolutely horrible what some people have to go through because they are born into poverty and slavery.
Taking this opportunity to use the speculative price of bitcoin in order to keep people further impoverished and slaves to the diamond trade is downright saddening.
No one wants to fund anything, but by wanting things we pay to get them. Sometimes we love the produce but dont like the middlemen.
