Fish trader killed in Dhaka road accident
A fish trader was killed in a road accident in city's Karwan Bazar area on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Alam Hossain, 35, son of Abdus Salam. Hossain hailed from Goichchha village in Borhanuddin upazila of Bhola district.
Local people rescued critically injured Alam from in front of Hotel Sonargaon around 9:00am and whisked him off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
The body was kept in the hospital morgue, said DMCH police outpost SI Bachchu Mia.
Alam was hit by a vehicle while crossing road after selling fish to 'Mayer Doa Barisal Fish' in Karwan Bazar, said Karwan Bazar Fish market worker Al Amin Hossain.
