Chalk It Up -- My Daily Fantasy Basketball Journey Vol.19
Hey guys, it has been a few days since my last post. Had a 3-day weekend vacation and feeling refreshed.
Yesterday we had a nice 9-game slate with lots of value due to injuries.
First for the LA Clippers both Patrick Beverly and Danilo Gallinari were both ruled out, which meant huge usage and minutes for Lou Williams.
Next was Rudy Gobert who was also out for the Utah Jazz. That meant a bump in minutes for Derrick Favors and also a scoring void to be filled.
Lastly we Steph Curry out. I tried to be cute with my lineup and fade the Warriors - Magic game and as you will see later, that didn't work out too well.
I ended up going with a more balanced lineup with my lone stud being Kristaps Porzingis.
David Love has been hot and he recently got a Center designation so I thought I would use him at Center.
I picked both Tim Hardaway Jr. and TJ Warren at the mid tier level for their huge upside in scoring and both had excellent matchups.
After that I went with Ricky Rubio and Thabo Sefolosha from the Utah Jazz who I thought would also benefit from Rudy Gobert being out.
Lastly I took Dennis Schroder as a pivot away from the chalk and was in a good matchup.

I ended up in 61080th place out of 119048 entries. Did not cash again.
Lou Williams and Tim Hardaway Jr. absolutely destroyed, however the rest of my lineup was a huge disappointment. Fading the Warriors - Magic gaming really hurt me in the end.
Total Profit for 19 Days: -$21.19 -$4 = - $25.19 Loss
I am in a long losing streak that I need to turn around.
