Do You Know Your Reasonable service?

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1 (KJV)

God is the creator of heaven and earth and everything therein. He is a great King, thus expects all His creation to serve Him. Because He is a Holy God, He does not just accept any kind of service. The service He requires from His children should be that of living sacrifice, holy and acceptable. Thus, He expects us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to Him alone. This is what His Word refers to as a reasonable sacrifice. Before Jesus Christ died on the cross to save mankind from sin, the sacrifice that God accepted was animal sacrifice but that is long past and no more acceptable. Dear beloved, totally commit your whole being, spirit, soul, and body to God, and He will show you His will. After finding His will for your life, pursue it, and walk in it and you find peace, joy, prosperity and riches to make your life meaningful on earth.
