RE: Devcon 4 Wrap-Up Thoughts w/ Boxmining & Ran Neuner

I'm of agreeance with you. I recall at least 5 ICOs last year that were trying to raise money for this kind of purpose. We already know that many are attempting to capitalize on the fact that there aren't enough crypto-friendly jurisdictions, in order to provide a safe-haven...but it's all an experiment, assuming they even fulfill what they aim to do. At the very least Blockchain LLC has already purchased the land, has asked for no capital, and is in fact hiring people. They seem farther ahead than any similar project I've seen presented, and all I know is Jeffrey Berns deeply despises the banks, is no push-over, and will likely go as far as possible with this. I didn't know about the Steem park...very interesting. Thanks for sharing, and for the comment, brother.

Yeah I have been watching that closely as well. Very cool stuff Jeffery is doing. I wonder what his views for the future are in regards to crypto as a whole. Does he see the world being run on ETH for anything and everything?.. or does he see a world in which there are multiple blockchains co-existing and being used for different purposes? I believe that will be the case. I believe ETH could have some great use cases but right now it seems everyone is trying to do everything on ETH. I believe things will begin to readjust themselves as more people become educated on certain things. -- check out these two articles regarding Steem park. Both great reads. The @sndbox account is also worth following. They have been doing some great things for the Steem eco system.

There aren't many blockchain projects getting a write up in The Economist. There is firstly a need for better blockchain knowledge amongst the general public. But even amongst regular retail investors in Crypto, there needs to be some real education, so they can tell the difference between a low value clone project, to a real project with developers and an active community, willing to use its product.

Which is the only crypto that I actually use, it's STEEM, everything else is speculation. How many people genuinely use their Bitcoin as a currency? Be honest, not many at all.

Steem is likely to be first Crypto many people own.
