My experience in learning German Language.
I am from Nepal , a small South Asian Country .And i know 3 languages Hindi , English and my mother tongue Nepali.
For my Bachelors education, I am aiming to study in Germany because of the low cost, student friendly environment and Practical education System. I am currently studying B1 level of Deutsch. For those who dont know there are three tires of learning Language, A1 contains Basic Phrases and Grammar, then comes A2 level where you learn to speak and B1,B2 etc,,, I am also big fan of SCORPIONS band and it inspires me to learn the language.
My experience :
In A1 level it was difficult for me because the Alphabets were Englishs' but the pronunciation was different. E.g
'E' in German is pronounced as 'A' in English. And Since German and English are both derived from Latin, so it was comparatively easier to learn German language with Respect to English. Obviously Listening takes more practice and to get used to i need to keep increasing my Vocab.
One of the new thing on my course to German was KASUS. Because it was totally new thing to me as English Language has lost its all Cases (KASUS) in today's time. It took me a while to develop the concept of KASUS.But i did it back on My A2. And the bold side in German language is caused by the ARTICLES primarily DER,DIE,DAS and separable Verbs known as trennbarren verbs in Deutsch. The articles of all nouns is predetermined and not by any specific rules (not for all ).
And the treenn barenn verbs makes the Vocabulary too hard as the meaning of verbs totally changes when there is prefix used as the end of the sentences. It also has several different adjective ending that needs to be mastered.
On my way to learn Deutsche , i learned many things, European Culture, sense of Politeness etc. It is not a hard language to learn although , there are many things different in German than other common languages. YouTube has been always the best place to learn new languages. I dont think we can learn Grammar of any languages in any App.
We must be interested in anything to learn it quick and easy. So my suggestion to anyone learning German or any other language is get truly interested in it, Gather required materials, and give your time to it. Dont give up because you all know Our Brain has truly magnificent power, learning a language is very smallest task for it and only thing it takes is practice and self discipline. Take something related to it which inspires you just like i take Scorpions. And stick to it. Vielen Dank.
