Treffen mit den Marsmönchen
Der Eine oder Andere kennt möglicherweise Marsmännchen. Was Jux aber auf dem großen Mond vorfand war ein Raumoval mit einer Familie von Marsmönchen. Ich als Erzähler hab mir den Namen nicht ausgedacht. Die Lebewesen nennen sich wirklich so.
Jux sah ein blankes, violett glänzendes Ei, einfarbig und ganz anders als sein Mondteppich. Es war groß, aber nicht riesig. Die Umgebung sah friedlich aus und so landete er nur wenige Teppichlängen neben dem blanken Raumei.
Kaum berührte sein Teppich den Mondboden, dann sprang auch schon eine violette Gestalt mit grünem Gesicht aus dem Raumei heraus (siehe Bild oben). Wenige Atemintervalle später hüpfte noch eine zweite violette Gestalt mit grünem Gesicht heraus (siehe Bild unten). Beide bewegten sich nun auf Jux zu.
Er hörte sein Herz bis zu den Ohren klopfen und blieb wie angewurzelt stehen. Hoffentlich passiert jetzt nix schlimmes, dachte er.
Und so kam es. Es passierte nichts Schlimmes. Die violetten Wesen hatten einen Sprachübersetzer mit. Sie warfen Jux ein freundliches Halli-Hallo zu und fragten gleich nach seinem Namen.
Meeting with the Mars Monks
One or the other may know Martian men, people from mars. But what Jux found on the big moon was a Space Oval with a family of Mars Monks. As a narrator I didn't come up with the name. The living beings really call themselves that.
Jux saw a blank, violet shining egg, monochrome and completely different than its moon carpet. It was big, but not huge. The surroundings looked peaceful and so he landed only a few lengths of carpet next to the blank space egg.
As soon as his carpet touched the floor of the moon, a violet figure with a green face jumped out of the egg (see picture above). A few breathing intervals later a second violet figure with a green face jumped out (see picture below). Both now moved towards juxtaposition.
He heard his heart pounding up to his ears and stopped as if rooted. Hopefully nothing bad will happen now, he thought.
And so it came. Nothing bad happened. The violet creatures had a language translator with them. They threw a friendly Halli-Hallo to Jux and immediately asked for his name.
So erfuhr er, dass der Erste ein männlicher Marsmönch und die zweite ein weiblicher Marsmönch war. Beide erzählten im Verlauf der Unterhaltung sogar, dass sie in der Nähe ihres Eis bleiben müssten, um auf den Embryo aufzupassen, der jederzeit schlüpfen könne. Sie erzählten zudem, dass ihr Raumfahrzeug kein Raumei, sondern Raumoval sei. Nur in Eier sind Embryonen, aber in Ovalen leben und reisen Marsmönche.
Nach kurzer Zeit luden sie Jux in ihr Raumoval ein, um ihm den Marsmönch-Embryo zu zeigen. Er befand sich in einer durchsichtigen Hülle (siehe Bild).
Jux could not marvel at his amazement for long and was quick to advise in conversation with the strangers.
So he learned that the first was a male Mars Monk and the second a female Mars Monk. Both even told during the conversation that they had to stay near their egg to take care of the embryo, which could hatch at any time. They also said that their spacecraft was not an egg, but an oval. Embryos are only found in eggs, but Mars Monks live and travel in ovals.
After a short time they invited Jux into their space oval to show him the Mars Monk Embryo. It was in a transparent shell (see picture).
Die Einladung
Im Verlauf des Gesprächs erklärten Sie Jux, dass sie oder Andere von Zeit zu Zeit auf diesem Mond kommen, um die Entwicklung auf dem Planeten von Jux zu studieren.
Jux stellte viele Fragen nach der Welt der Marsmönche. Sie beantworteten alle seine Fragen, auch wenn er alles nicht verstehen und sich vorstellen konnte.
Die Marsmönche luden Jux sogar ein, ihre Heimatwelt zu besuchen. Sie leben auf einem kleinen Planeten mit hohen Vulkanen und stark eisenhaltiger Erde. Ihr Heimatplanet ist der vierte in ihrem Sonnensystem. Um ihren Planeten kreisen nicht drei, sondern nur zwei Monde. Überlieferungen und alte Legenden machten die Monde für schlimme Sachen verantwortlich. So erhielten sie die Namen Furcht und Schrecken.
Die Zeit verging schnell. Jux hat viel erfahren . Nach einer Million Atemintervallen entschloss er sich, wieder heimzufliegen und den interstellaren Teppich in die Tat umzusetzen. Bisher geisterten nur Ideen, Entwürfe und das Design in seinem Kopf herum. Nun wusste er, dass sein Mondteppich gut fliegen kann. Er wusste, was er noch verbessern muss, um intergalaktisch reisen zu können.
Jux überkam die bekannte Ungeduld. Er verabschiedete sich und brach auf. Als er bereits auf seinem Mondteppich saß und gerade losfliegen wollte, kam der männliche Marsmönch zu ihm und übergab ihm ein Geschenk - einen intergalaktischen Kompass. Er fügte die Worte hinzu, dass er gut auf diesen Kompass aufpassen soll, da er mehr als nur ein Kompass und intergalaktischer Wegweiser ist.
Wie es mit Jux weitergeht, darauf darf der geneigte Leser gespannt sein.
The Invitation
In the course of the conversation they explained Jux that they or others come from time to time on this moon for studying the evolution on the planet of Jux.
Jux asked many questions about the world of the Mars Monks. They answered all his questions, even if he could not understand and imagine everything.
The Mars Monks even invited Jux to visit their homeworld. They live on a small planet with high volcanoes and a strong ferrous earth. Their home planet is the fourth in their solar system. Not three but only two moons circle around their planet. Tradition and old legends made the moons responsible for bad things. So they got the names Fear and Scare.
Time passed quickly. Jux has learned a lot. After a million breathing intervals he decided to fly back home and put the interstellar carpet into action. So far only ideas, drafts and the design have been in his head. Now he knew that his moon carpet could fly well. He knew what he needed to improve in order to travel intergalactically.
Jux came over the well-known impatience. He said goodbye and set off. As he was already sitting on his moon carpet ready to fly off, the male Mars Monk came to him and gave him a gift - an intergalactic compass. He added the words that he should take good care of this compass because it is more than just a compass and intergalactic guide.
The inclined reader can look forward to seeing what happens next with Jux.
