Trotz angekündigter 90 Tage Bearbeitungszeit ging es am Ende sehr schnell. Ich musste noch für jeden der beiden Abhebungen USDC und Bitcoin eine Verifizierung vornehmen. Also Perso hochgeladen und einmal gekonnt den Kopf vor der Kamera neigen. Alles supi. Zwei Tage später war das Geld da. Nun wird wahrscheinlich erstmal eine Weile nichts mehr passieren. Sicher sollen weitere Tranchen mit weiteren Rückzahlungen durch FTX an BlockFi möglich werden, aber wer weiß, ob und wann das sein wird.
Egal, wenn man schon alles abgeschrieben hat, ist eine Rücksendung sehr willkommen. Bin zufrieden.

So, damit dieser Post nicht so alleine dasteht hier noch ein Foto des diesjährigen Osterfeuers. Traditionell findet das höchste Osterfeuer hier im größeren Umkreis auf der Bergwerkshalde Haniel im Bottroper Norden statt. Ach, und unter dem Kreuz stand schon Johannes Paul II., aber das erwähne ich ja jedes Jahr 😉

Wie was FTX Geld/Coins zurück? Habe selber bei RA Kroll einen Claim zu laufen. Was und wo hast Du da was gemacht?

(Noch) nicht direkt zurück. Ich spiele auf folgende Information an, wonach Rechtsstreitigkeiten über FTX Forderungen gegenüber BlockFi fallen gelassen und stattdessen die volle Höhe der Verbindlichkeiten anerkannt werden. Damit sind weitere Rückzahlungen an BlockFi möglich, die wiederum für die Entschuldung bei seinen Kunden verwendet werden sollen. Hier im Original:

BlockFi is pleased to announce the successful resolution in principle of all litigation and other disputes between BlockFi and FTX and its affiliated debtors (collectively, the “FTX Debtors”). One of the most significant tasks assigned to the BlockFi Plan Administrator was resolving BlockFi’s claims against FTX, totaling approximately a billion dollars, and defending against FTX’s hundreds of millions of dollars of avoidance claims and other counterclaims. These matters have, by far, the largest impact on BlockFi customer recoveries.

Subject to court approval, this settlement will allow BlockFi’s claims against the FTX Debtors as follows:
BlockFi will receive a claim of $689.3 million against Alameda Research on account of BlockFi’s loans to Alameda Research, of which $250 million is entitled to be treated as a secured claim.
BlockFi will receive an allowed customer claim of $185.2 million against FTX.com on account of its assets on the FTX exchange, representing the full value of those assets, as of the FTX petition date.
All asserted claims by FTX against BlockFi that sought to reduce or offset those claims will be waived, and FTX has agreed to waive or subordinate all other claims against BlockFi.
In sum, the settlement will maximize the value to be received on account of BlockFi’s claims through ensuring that FTX recognizes the full amount owed to BlockFi.
The BlockFi Plan Administrator and the Wind-Down Debtors’ advisors express their gratitude to BlockFi customers for their patience through this process, and to the mediator and FTX for their constructive participation in reaching a value-maximizing result for concerned parties.

Interim distributions to BlockFi creditors based on the FTX settlement will be subject to the terms of the BlockFi Plan.
