I hired an AI logo designer and you won't believe what happened next!!
We keep hearing that A.I will take all our jobs. There's A.I writers, A.I screenwriters!, A.I for manufacturing, A.I that beat the best playerin Go, Poker, Chess...we know all that but we still believe that "our" job is "safe". No one could do what WE DO! Right...
Design takes creativity, skill, a good deal of people-reading skill and understanding. It's a very humane job. Can an AI do it one day?

Introducing LOGOJOY. This is a service I recently discovered that will make a logo and receive all the files a designer would provide. Vector files, 20 JPG and PNG files including transparent background and more. These files are made to be used in print, online, on Steemit or whatever. It's quite cool.
They claim to use A.I and in a few minutes it can generate a world-class logo for yourself or your company at 10% of the price. Hmmmmm. That sounds fishy..but promising given the rating they have and the reviews I read.
How does it work?
Basically you pick a few designs that you enjoy and chose the color schemes that you think you'll like and BAM! New logo generated.
I put it to the test and what can I say...this is kind of insane. and maybe scary, IF you are a designer :)
Or maybe, I will want to advertise myself at the Metro station?
Awesome! All in all this was a good job and done in literally minutes as promised. You can tweak the colors and chose from a lot of variations. Then just buy it and start your thing. It's even cheap:
Let's be real. A.I is coming and things will change and maybe there won't be really a market for "madiocre" designs. However, the top of the top, the super creatives and people who put in the work will always get a job designing stuff. People love people and love to work with people. I don't think it will ever go away. Don't panic yet but maybe learn to code a bit.
When the A.I will rise, they might have a use for you..or not :D

I just tried it and it's fun, smth like tailor brands. But I must say that this AI has only thatt amount of ideas and a person has unlimited, remember that!
never discount the human touch! Totally agree :) but the a.i can learn and combine infinite ideas forever...

I don't agree with this... I'm a graphic designer and it is not accurate to have an algorithm to make a logo for your company. It is a subjective work which needs to be made looking from all perspectives paying attention to small details like communication and functionality. Let's think about Coca-Cola and KFC logos
I'm 100% sure that an AI company would not be able to make those logos if they did not exist as brands.
So, I think AI companies do create logos and yes they work and are great for
start-up companies who can not afford paying a skilled logo creator human. However I'm curious about how far AI can go with it.
freelancer did amazing job sometime compare the agency and you can save cost as well
Artificial Intelligence is slowly improving each day, and are even been used to carry out Job functions of human beings.
I believe AI jobs are great for environment that puts human lives in danger, but when it comes to design there is just something about a human touch.
