Joben Bistro, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

This restaurant in Romania, designed by 6th sense, is a peculiar pub with a steampunk inspiration straight out of Jules’ Verne’s fictional fantasy and sci-fi stories. Joben Bistro also it features steampunk motifs.Steampunk is a literary genre connected to science fiction and fantasy that appeared in the 1980s. The works of this genre are often social critiques that play upon elements of Victorian industrialism and technology.

The bar is divided into three rooms. The first one is dedicated to vintage art, the second one has a bar with concrete walls, while the third is full of objects of different types.

Logomo Café, Turku, Finland

Created by the German artist Tobias Rehberger, the interior design of the Logomo Café is sure to remind one of the abstract paintings of Pollock. The crisscrossing lines on the floor and the walls were conceived of in collaboration with Artek.
