Swimsuit Brand logo - Graphic Design

Among the things that I love in life, graphic design takes center stage. I started designing small things in adobe illustrator, as leaf vectors, mandalas, what was happening to me, I really started to get to know this program at the university in the field of design. I took a lot of love and I took the learning of the classes to practice at home, so my hobby a job.

I found it very interesting to be able to design thousands of things giving my personal touch, art, style and talent combined to drain and distract me from the usual. Until this routine went from being a hobby to a job, when they started calling me to design different brand logos. In this case I will show you the first range of logo designs that i make for the makeda beachwear brand, specializing in women's swimwear. At the time of requesting the logo, they gave me a brief of the personality of the brand and based on the knowledge acquired and the targeted target I created a series of designs so then they could choose between the differences their favorite. The current logo of the brand is that of the yellow mandala with the '' M '' so I put an individual photo to differentiate them.

The logo represents the image of the brand, is what it expresses, the visual impression that we obtain, so it must go hand in hand with the personality of the brand, which differs through the color palette used. Yellow is a color that brings happiness, joy, luxury, fun, intelligence, youth, sensuality, creativity ...

All these characteristics point to the target of the brand, which in this case: young Caribbean women who love to look and feel beautiful on sunny beaches.

Venezuela is a tropical country, with a long stretch of beaches along its Caribbean coast. Margarita and los Roques one of the most touristic and beautiful islands of the Country. For this reason we should use colors that represent both the product of sale, in this case the swimsuits, as consumers and the country of emergence.

Entre las cosas que me apasionan en la vida, el diseño grafico toma protagonismo. Empece a diseñar pequeñas cosas en adobe illustrator, como vectores de hojas, mandalas, lo que se me iba ocurriendo, la verdad empece a conocer este programa en la universidad en la materia de diseño. Le agarre muchisimo cariño y me llevaba el aprendizaje de las clases a la practica en casa, asi surgio mi hobby. Encontraba muy interesante el hecho de poder diseñar miles de cosas dandole mi toque personal, arte, estilo y talento combinados para drenar y distraerme de lo habitual. Hasta que esta rutina paso de ser un hobby a un trabajo, cuándo me empezaron a llamar para el diseño de distintos logos para marcas. En este caso les mostrare la primera gama de diseños de logo que realice para la marca makeda beachwear, especializada en trajes de baño para mujer. Al momento de solicitarme el logo, ellos me dieron un brief de la personalidad de la marca y en base a los conocimientos adquiridos y el target dirigido les cree una serie de diseños para que pudieran escoger entre las diferencias su favorito. El actual logo de la marca es el de la mandala amarilla con la ''M'' por eso les puse una foto individual para que las diferenciaran.

El logo representa la imagen de la marca, es lo que expresa, la impresion visual que obtenemos por lo que debe ir a corde con la personalidad de la marca, la cual se diferencia a traves de la paleta de colores utilizados. El amarillo es un color que aporta felicidad, alegria, lujo, diversión, inteligencia, juventud, sensualidad, creatividad…

Todas estas caracteristicas apuntan al target de la marca, que en este caso: mujeres jovenes del caribe a las que les encanta lucir y sentirse hermosas en las playas soleadas.

Venezuela es un pais tropical, con una larga extension de playas a lo largo de su costa caribeña. Margarita y los Roques una de las islas mas turisticas y hermosas del País. Por esta razon debiamos usar colores que representaran tanto al producto de venta, en este caso los trajes de baño, como a los consumidores y al pais de surgimiento.
