With an area of 105 square meters, Parametr Architecture managed to renovate the house to be very unique in the area of Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The house was originally built just like the surrounding housing that has the same shape and facade with its neighbors. Surely the design of this parameter home becomes iconic amid housing that looks similar. In addition, the request from the owner, so this house can have more space in the land measuring 7x15 cashew
The addition of a plate to a certain area for additional space in this house is a common concept in the renovation of this house. The advantage of this house from the beginning is the structure of the house that has been prepared for a two-story house so there is no need for additional costs to create a new structure. But of course because of the existing structure with the structure of the column is clear, then the architects need to adjust the design with the structure. This in itself is a challenge for Parametr Architecture.
Due to the addition of space and area on the second floor, the house with the name of this Heavy rotation house, changed drastically from the house rigid, massif, rigid, to be more flexible. The architect is inspired by the Javanese language philosophy of krowakism which means hole in Indonesian. By making a continuous void in the middle of the room, light and air was easy to enter all the floors of the building. In addition, a corridor bridge on the second floor made of metal also adds an open impression between the floors of the house.
