The Well of Jacob

It is a small stream that runs through Cypress Creek in Wimberlay, Texas and that gives rise to one of the most mysterious and deep natural wells known.

Inside the Pozo de Jacob, a powerful underground spring maintains the cave and its surroundings with water from immemorial times, being one of the sources of water for the neighboring Edwards Aquifer, which constitutes a very important natural reserve and that gives water to almost two million people.
