Description: A beautiful Hyla molleri, commonly known as Iberian tree frog, clings to the vegetation and remain as quiet as possible, to save energy and lower its metabolism. Why? Pond water at 10 degrees celsius! Photo taken on Serra da Estrela, the highest point of mainland Portugal, in early spring.
