I've been here a couple days and the insincerity is the first thing that stood out. There are people who share thoughtful comments and you can tell they're just trying to get a vote, but at least they put some time and effort into what they're saying.

The group that bugs me are basically e-beggars with lazy, low-effort "thank you for posting"-type content. It's like chicks fishing for compliments and attention on Insta, but instead of putting SOME work into a cute photo they just snap a pic of themselves laying in bed, messed up hair and face pushed back showing off the double chin.

And then there are people like you, who give long drawn out and witty comments to get their votes lol. Well played sir!!!

oh-shit-i-think-theyre-onto-me.jpg

Quick, cheese it!

Thank you for that post. lol

Oh SHEEZ™ ;) <3

and then there are people like you who cracked me the fuck up when i read this comment and get an upvote lol

Couldn't have said it better myself bro! Like just be genuine, say what you have to say and keep it moving.

yeah man i totally agree with you when people do comments on any post rather than getting upvote its like making relation with the community which you don't know.an upvote is just formality for it but you are building the relationship with the members on steemit.

thanks for pos-UH I mean - I agree. It's a natural by product of the platform of Steem, but the level of obviousness when it's basically begging is just pointless - there can be times for a simple and clean answer, but I don't think people will realize they will make more if they put in real and genuine effort.

you are smart.

U Might Bet on IT! ;) <3

Definitely, sure, but maybe people are more motivated to be nice. Maybe people are motivated to speak at all when they usually just lurk, and they're actually nice at heart. Who knows.. When I saw how nice the community was I thought yea it's pretty fake, but then I thought about how most people actually don't comment. This is like their first time contributing.

Lolll! Two to three posts a day is more than reasonable. Anything is better than ten rofl. Can't believe there are accounts that just blast full-power auto-vote a whole wall of ten, day in and day out. True point about sincerity here, not to get too real or anything but the way this site is set up kind of turns everyone into a sycophant sooner or later, and keeping critical or saying your mind is kind of passively pushed down into the back of the mind when everyone is just trying to please everyone. Good on you for engaging people who can't really communicate in English all that well, it's too bad that there aren't more non-English speaking whales that they could have real conversations with.

Your thoughts on the original team and where they went and how much their stake is compared with how much they've done recently, along with the whole shadow-mining and who the whales are is def a big issue... there are more talks of that on bitcointalk.org if you're interested. I think the crypto hype kind of simmered down a little from the peaks and everyone is kind of scared and worrying about a few of the more obvious problems with how prices got here in the crypto market. There's no point in re-entering with tooooo much risk at stake considering Tether's looming cloud and suspicious steem/sbd price movements, at least in my small opinion. Cash in the hand or coins in hard wallets are priceless when exchanges go bust.

talkin' bout @fyrstikken's BestPractice taught on steemspeak? ;) <3

Trevon that video is PRICELESS !!!! I bet coming home was pretty funny too. I wonder how many times your girl said - "WHAT DID YOU SAY" - LOL

STEEM will also be harder to earn in the future when the Steem blockchain grows. It's a fix reward pool divided over more and more users. The dark ages prices have passed but there is still a lot of room here for investing.

I’m so sorry @trevonjb, I had to lough the entire video. You sounded like a hot potato in your mouth. Very funny. Thanks for update. Steemit is the perfect motivation. I saw you little babies early, they look beautiful.

Well at least you can tell who your Real fans are LOL. Anyone who continues to watch your videos after the Dentist. Thats some Dedication right there man, most people would have probably waited until the swelling went down to put out fresh content for their fans. Not you man, not you! lol hope you're feeling better.
