Navy ships have to pay for their diesel fuel in the Persian Gulf with silver, let's analyze that. I can easily guess that one ship could easily take on 5000 gallon of diesel fuel. Because it's the Persian Gulf and it's likely there is no tax on that fuel I am going to put the price of $1.75 per gallon on that fuel, now let's put a price on silver at $20 per ounce. And I come up with 437.5 ounces of silver. If this statement is true then the U.S. Navy is using silver for ballast.
