That is very familiar to me. When I was assigned in Palawan, Philippines I usually ate those. It is called there TAMILOK. It could be bought from daily peddler for 20php ($0.10)per cup. Because I was so curious where they got those stuff, so I went with them. Early in the morning we went to the mangrove having axe, vessel and vinegar. I thought it would be easy for us to get those TAMILOK because the drift woods were already sunk in the saltwater for many years. But, Oh men!!! Mangroves were very hard wood!! You would sweat a lot before you could get those yummy stuff. We just dipped those live worms into a vinegar then swallowed then. Its very high in protein!!
I want to come back their just to taste those once again!!
