DeFi - The ICOs of 2020??? - Bitcoin

Today I'd like to have a quick chat about the upsides and downsides of DeFi and explain exactly what it is, while also bringing up the origins of cryptocurrency as whole. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency and in many ways has already been used for decentralized finance but what is this DeFi craze that everyone is talking about? Should you jump on the bandwagon? Is it the next 2017 bull run like the ICO's that we saw in the past? I do my best to explain what I think but I'm interested to hear your thoughts!
