How can you breathe
In such a still world
I am drowning
Yet I am not even in water.
My soul is suffocating
Yet I am in complete solitude.
My lungs are collapsing.
Each breath I take,
Is one breath
Less
That I have to take.
How can you open your eyes
When there is nothing left to see.
I am blinded
By the darkness encorpsed around my aching soul.
My eyes within have seen too much,
That my eyes without
Have seen not enough.
But the real question is,
How do you feel
When there is no longer anything left to feel
Apart from the aching pain
Or perhaps relief
Of the world
Closing
