A Boost For Deep Onion, Anonymous Coins On The Spotlight
It is now well known that governments are spying on their own citizens. Governments have the technical capacity and resources to check your email, listen on your conversations, track your payments and even remotely control your web cams without you knowing it. Government agencies justify their actions by using national security as an excuse. We will never know if governments agencies even get proper warrants for justification on spying on us.
A well-known IT personality by the name of John McAfee is no stranger in controversial pronouncements. He has been in the press lately for his wild and often unbelievable target prices for Bitcoin. Again, John McAfee did it again on other coins. A few days ago, he tweeted the following:
John McAfee’s tweet is another recommendation for anonymous-centric or privacy coins. The coins he mentioned like Monero, Verge and Zcash are few of the most well-known privacy coins in the cryptocurrency industry. Some believe that privacy coins will play a major part in protecting our freedom by protecting our privacy. Privacy is what is being eroded by governments when they spy on us with no justifiable reason.
A simple tweet from a famous personality again put the spotlight on anonymous-centric coins. Even though many who followed the tweet are there for speculative investments on cryptocurrencies, it still contributes to spreading awareness on privacy coins.
Deep Onion is one of the most aggressively marketed privacy coins right now. It is an anonymous, TOR-based, and untraceable cryptocurrency. Deep Onion will benefit by this recent focus on anonymous transactions. The coins mentioned by John McAfee rose in price considerably and this interest will sooner or later come to boost Deep Onion also.
