DeepOnion: News of the Week (New Records, Android App, Woocommerce Plugin and more)
Hi guys, how are you? It´s me again. This week I would like to tell you how the things are doing regarding the DeepOnion project.
The week started with a fantastic news: one of the users from China posted some nodes that allow to synchronize the wallet in that country. This is a problem that they had been carrying from the beginning, and it had never been solved. Thanks to this advance, the users from China can synchronize their wallets and save their Onions there.
Due to this new, Cryptopia has begun to have a large number of purchase orders of Onions, which has allowed new records, reaching a volume of 700k USD (50 BTC approximately) in only 24 hours, and a maximum price of 4.07 USD, which is close to the historical record of 4.83 USD a few months ago.
With the passing of days, the price decreased a bit and has stabilized between 19k and 20k satoshis, which is good, since about 20 days ago we were talking about a price close to 8k satoshis, which gives an increase of more than 100% in just a few days.
Actually the price is 19k satoshis, as we can see below in the following image. I believe that with the passing of days the price will increase even more.
A very important announcement was the one that gave one of our mods (@themonkii), where after the Q & A that he made a few days ago, he was in contact with an user of the community, which was committed to develop an Android app for DeepOnion. You can get more details here:

Another thing that I think is excellent is the development of a plugin to accept Onions as a form of payment, which is in charge of our famous mods @DogLover and @Impressive :). The work that they´re doing is fantastic, you can check more details about this plugin here:
