From Russia With Love

Do you remember what our political leaders told us in the run up to the Iraq invasion? For months they tied Saddam Hussein to the attacks of 9/11. For months they claimed that Saddam posed an "imminent threat" because he had weapons of mass destruction.

No proof of either claim was ever offered, instead politicians waved a stack of papers provided to them by their national secret services and said things like: "if only we were allowed to share this secret information with you, you'd see what kind of an animal this Saddam really is; trust us, trust our secret agents and give us permission to invade Iraq so we can rid the world from this vermin".

And while we're at it, we'll bring liberty, justice and democracy for those poor Iraqi people who deserve no less... Well, we all know how that turned out. Everything contained within the stacks of paper our politicians waved at us, without ever saying what's in them, was a lie. This is how the deep state, how the shadow government works; secret service agencies provide your politicians with the lies they tell you in order to keep the military industrial complex and the status quo alive and well. These agencies and industries need an enemy at all times, so they make sure there's always one present. The latest chapter in this behind the scenes real life drama is called "Russia-gate."

"Those damn commies are trying to influence our elections!" Yeah right. Just stop and think a moment, and remember that the U.S. has been setting up puppet regimes all over the world; so it's okay for us to meddle in the politics and governments of all kinds of countries, but when it happens to us we're suddenly surprised and angry? We introduce "democracy" at gun-point, but feign indignation when we're "attacked" by an "army" of troll-bots? The hypocrisy is simply stunning. Since the Democrats have supported each and every action of the secret services and the military industrial complex to enact regime change whenever and wherever it was deemed necessary, they had no moral ground to stand on in their endless accusations against Trump and his "buddy" Putin, and there was never any chance of a successful impeachment.

Now this whole Russia fabrication is aimed at Bernie Sanders as well; the media are full of stories about Russia wanting to influence the primaries in Bernie's favor. Russia wants Bernie to win the primaries. But wait... I thought Trump was Putin's buddy here? Why would he now suddenly want to support Trump's most feared political enemy? Here's the explanation provided by the shadow government: Russia wants Bernie to become the Democratic nominee so that Trump can win another 4 years in the Oval Office. They claim that Sanders would be easy to beat in the general elections, even though every poll shows otherwise and even though Trump has already admitted on tape that from all Democratic candidates he fears Bernie most. None of it makes sense. Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 because she was a bad candidate, had a bad campaign, and ran on a message that everything was already great in America; she lost all by herself and Trump didn't need any help from Russia or anyone else. Trump admitted, and is right in my opinion, that it would be very much harder for him to win that election if Bernie was the Democratic candidate or if Clinton picked Bernie as her Vice President.

But the one thing that's worse for both parties' establishments than another 4 years of Trump, is a Sanders presidency. Stopping Sanders is now a bipartisan effort, just like invading Iraq was a bipartisan effort, and they both repeat the lies fed to them by the shadow government, just like they did to garner support for the Iraq invasion. I was kind of disappointed to see Sanders going along with this ridiculous narrative by warning Russia to stay out of the elections, but on the other hand, what else can he do given this rotten public discourse fueled by deep state lies? Make no mistake; Sanders will be under constant assault from every direction in the Washington bubble, the powers that be will stop at almost nothing to prevent this man from becoming the next president of the United States of America. And if he does manage to make that happen, if WE manage to make that happen, it will be exciting and interesting to see if Sanders, with our help, can withstand the shadowy powers that have ruled America and the world since the world wars.

S.P.E.C.T.R.E. This is the shadowy criminal organization James Bond had to fight for the first time in the 1963 film From Russia With Love. It stands for SPecial Executive for Crime, Terror, Revenge and Extortion, and would be an apt name for the shadow government indeed. And you can be sure that Bernie Sanders' 1988 honeymoon in Moscow will be used in attacks against him in the coming weeks and months.
