You raise some good points here @valued-customer, we could definitely consider small pieces of space debris traveling as weaponized. I don't actually think that it's possible to keep weapons out of space, to be honest. More important in my eyes is to remove the cover of secrecy surrounding their development and their testing in near Earth orbit that likely puts the entire planet in danger.

When we add the nuclear component to space weaponization it becomes a matter of concern for the entire planet. I see your point about evolving technology going through similar processes, but imho these things never posed a threat to every living thing on the planet.

I also wouldn't mind seeing the trillions being spent on black projects, spent in more productive ways.
