This is the backdrop for Deep Dives #13 and it's now more important than ever before to dig deep into the material Wikileaks has made public. Deep Dives has already hosted six research challenges into the organization's archive which has uncovered a wide range of underreported articles thanks to Wikileaks.
It's time to get back to digging in the vaults and back to building an archive of research on the blockchain.
The Wikileaks archive is arguably the most trusted publicly available archive and one of the largest collections of government documents, files, emails, and cables anywhere across the internet.

Back in late 2016, Wikileaks revealed the existence of a little-known index that combines onsite and offsite resources relating to Wikileaks material. This invaluable tool helps make the mammoth amount of documents available on the Wikileaks website more accessible and systematic.

The Wikileaks Archive Challenge
Search the Wikileaks archive at wikileaks.org or wikileaks.cloud Find an overlooked, underrated, underreported or obscure leak/ email/ cable/document/ court filing on a topic that interests you. Build a post around your findings Provide additional sources to make your case and strengthen your position Explain the significance of the leak and why it’s an important piece of news that should be communicated to the public.
If you’re having trouble finding a focus, begin with a person, country or topic of interest such as; Clinton / Netanyahu / Gaddafi / Saudi Arabia / China / Chemical Weapons / Free Trade / Trafficking / etc.
You never know what will turn up!

VPN suggestion?
We prefer not to recommend specific VPNs, but a good rule of thumb would be to use a VPN that is based outside of the US and generally paid versions are much more secure than unpaid versions.

As always, @deepdives Research Challenge is a recurring opportunity for any Steemit author to explore and report on an issue which interests them related to 'Government' and/or Government related activities which may directly or indirectly affect the health, safety and prosperity of all.

There seems to be a lot of confusion going around about a 'new dump' from Wikileaks. Just for clarity, this is an Index that was previously released in 2016 and Deep Dives has been linking to it in the announcement posts for many months now. This is the same as the wikileaks.org files, it just makes it easier to download and mirror.
WL has been trying, all be it unsuccessfully, to point this out.
