Escaping the Grey Weather Roadtrip - Day 4

Yes, Yes .. I know today is already day 5 on our little escaping the weather in Norway adventure, but... @sflovik and I were really exhausted yesterday and didn’t really manage to do anything in the evening.. we felt old 🙈

Now day 4 comes:

So yesterday we made our way towards the area of Saint Tropez, and stayed the night in Ramatuelle.

We are still not used to the French way of driving, but we made it! And our nerves survived!

When we were getting closer to our accommodation we finally escaped the traffic and drove along some beautiful vineyards. Suddenly everything became really peaceful, and the curvy roads reminded us of Norway.

The afternoon we spent at the famous Pampelonne beach, which was suppose to be really nice... it wasn’t .. at least not as described online. We expected more!
Either way we enjoyed a really nice lunch, had a swim in the sea and started to actually enjoy our holiday.

Our plan for the evening was to get out to Saint Tropez; even tho we were really tired! We told ourselves we are not that old yet that we need to go to bed at 21:00..

We wanted to have some drinks out, but taxi prices were really expensive, what to do then? Take an Uber! -
Only one driver available and he didn’t want to take us. Bad luck!

After a short moment of disappointment and realizing we have to go back here when we are actually older and have more money to spend, we decided to go out for dinner to a place near by, which was not as pricey as the restaurants down at the beach, and we really enjoyed it. The food was amazing!

Either way we ended up in bed before 00:00
We are definitely feeling old.

We realized we had really big ambitions of seeing a lot in the short time we are actually able to take off work, but we felt we are not really relaxing and calming down from the every day life; so we decided to stay one more night in Ramatuelle.
