Decision is important because it helps us to focus on the core issue. I prefer these steps when i have to choose among different options.

Ask yourself what would be the positive and negative results based on each alternative

Ask yourself: what is most important to me?

Make a decision and act
Ask yourself what do i need to do to put my decision into action?

Ask yourself: Did I make a right decision?
How did my decision affect others?
Did things turn out the way i wanted? if not , what would i do different next time?
