A nice sense of accomplishment on the first day of the New Year :)

This is making me really proud!

Today I got a notification from the shopping cart system I use to sell my Bitcoin Safety Guide How To Stay Safe In The Crypto Space, which said that it's time to pay my affiliates!

I released the guide in December and it's wonderful to be able to share this important how-not-to-lose-your-coins info for beginners, and also reward the people who are helping me spread the news about it.

The "connected economy" is all about revenue sharing and win-win-win's to me. And I love that I have my first product now, which allows me to actively do this myself: join forces with others and share the profits with them in return for their efforts.

I've never been more happy to pay for anything in my life! 😀

In other good news...

I've come to the conclusion that the "killer apps" that will drive the mainstream away from centralised platforms to decentralised solutions might actually be YouTube and Facebook themselves...? They've been really doing their best lately...

I'm seeing more and more discussions in Facebook groups, where people try to leave Facebook (because they simply don't agree with FB's business practices and data collection) and wonder if they can live without social media.

I love telling them about Steemit and other decentralised solutions and hear them say, "Oh, so it's not about social media or no social media; it's about old social media or new social media? I'm ready try out something new!"

While 2017 was the year that attracted people to Bitcoin with promises to get rich, 2020 might be the year that motivates people to join the crypto movement in order to protect their privacy and digital freedom.

Let's all do our best to onboard them safely!
