Uncertainty Makes It Time to Explore Alternate Planets - LBRY

The past few months on Steem have been somewhat uncomfortable. First was the big shift from content creation to a curation model. This did not help me as an active content creator. Second, was the actions from Justin Sun and TRON which is trying to turn a decentralised platform into a centralised one

That got me to looking at alternatives. Enter LBRY to which I was introduced by @hilarski, who joined Steemit a month before I did in July 2016. LBRY is a crypto-based platform not only for blogging but also for vlogging. As a decentralised platform it has the potential to challenge Youtube especially on topics like crypto that Youtube was restricting in December - I lost a few Bitcoin videos that were ranking well.

I have joined LBRY and opened my new channel. My investing posts will appear there too.

Most Steem users care about the same thing LBRYians cares about: freedom. Freedom to communicate, to share, to like. Freedom from the control of a single platform or a single provider.
