Decentraland - Science VR by innerGlitch
Hi everyone,
It has been 3 months since my last post.
I know it is a long time, but I’ve been working on so many stuff lately and I didn’t want to lower the quality of my posts by making content I didn't like.
Now that the real life job is less demanding, I can concentrate and work on projects I have been focusing for a while.
The first one is the subject of this post.
Decentraland
For those of you who have no idea what Decentraland is, here’s the link to the website: https://decentraland.org/
Fore the lazy ones: Decentraland is a virtual world built with VR in mind. It is divided in parcels of LAND and has an ERC20 Token called MANA as main currency. You can buy land, services or good inside this world and organise social meetings.
All the content is distributed using IPFS Network.
When I’ve heard about this project I was really excited about the possibilities for Science communication.
So I founded a District, that is a portion of land with its own governance and goals, called innerGlitch where you can experience the strange physics phenomena of our universe.
In the innerGlitch District you will be able to experience what is like to travel at relativistic speeds, standing on the edge of a black hole, see the martian sunset and much more, all in VR!
