From my point of view debit card is better because here you can before hand that what is your capability and how much you can spend. You can not exceed your limit or the amount you have in your account.
On the other hand, Credit card gives you a limit where you can spend more than you have in your account. Then the amount you have used extra it will be cut from your account in the next month. Ultimately you will have to pay for what you are buying but you can pay it later. Sometimes what happens is with excitement people used to buy or spend all the money they have in their card but they forget that they will have to pay ultimately and also sometimes one may also exceed the amount of their one month income. So it may bring one person in a debt. But in a debit card you know your limit. This is why debit cards are better than credit cards in some cases.
