Why fake your own death???

Did you know that fake death is also known as pseudocide? well, now you know. Pseudocide is a case where a person leaves tangible evidence that suggests he/she is dead just to mislead others.
I never knew faking your own death existed, okay I knew but I didn't want to believe it, I wonder why someone will do that and how many persons have done that successfully.
Well, people can decide to fake their deaths for some reasons which include: avoiding crimal charges,to escape debts, to begin a new life or because they think their funeral will be more fun when they are present(hahahaha), quite funny right??

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

On the 13th of August 2017,i received a broadcast message from my friend on whatsapp saying he is dead, I took it as a joke,i called his number to confirm and the reciever said it was true, I called his friend and he told me he wasn't aware....i started preparing to cry because I had no other option than to believe it.
Two hours later, I got another message from him(mr dead guy) telling me it was all a joke... WHAT???? I just wasted my tears for nothing??? you know I could have saved those tears for my future heartbreak right!!!!! When I asked him why he did it, he said one of his reasons was to seek for attention.. SERIOUSLY!!!! I never knew seeking for attention could make one fake his own death, it's a No No for me, what do u think??? can you fake ur death for any reason????? you can share your thoughts on this....
