Philosophical Speculations

For many, it is impossible to distinguish philosophy and speculation. According to these, the philosopher does not work with methods that produce information, whether it is factual or logical. Moreover, the language he uses cannot be examined and validated.

In short, for them philosophy is not a science. However, we defend the opposite thesis in our book. We say that philosophical speculation is a transient stage, a stage in which logical analysis tools necessary for the solution of philosophical problems are not sufficiently developed.

It is a philosophy that, in modern science, it can provide definitive solutions to some problems based on previously predetermined answers, but only on the basis of some prediction. To put it briefly, our book was written to show that philosophy passed from speculation to science.

But the question comes to mind inevitably. When philosophy passes from speculation to science, is there such a thing as philosophy? The problem is not to make philosophy a philosophy, but to create a kind of philosophy that does not contradict science, that can interact efficiently with it.

It should not be forgotten that the philosophy of science is the result of our growing interest in science. In every period, philosophy is the characteristic of that period. For example, philosophy in the ancient world reflects the nature of the cycle of nature and the views of the political nature of man. Throughout the Middle Ages, the interest in God and religious life continues.

From the Renaissance to the present day, the act of understanding nature and controlling the forces of nature has dominated. Philosophy of science symbolizes that philosophical thought cannot be alien to this fact.
