I agree with you, the more older the buildings, temples and history the attractive they are for people, it is like we try to have a feel, taste of that ancient time, before it disappears. I think people have a different emotional experience from being in such old places, when they realize that everything comes and goes, nothing is eternal and we people just need to enjoy every single moment of our life. Despite of being worn the colors of wood and their painting still remain eye catcher :)
You're right. It's amazing to think that history has passed while the building has been in one place for a long time.
