Facebook Dating Feature

In order to challenge mobile dating app Tinder, Facebook has started testing its dating project internally among its employees. According to a report published in The World, an independent app analyst, Jane Morgan Wong collected evidence of the testing of the dating feature and shared it on Twitter. It was written in its screenshot, "This product is for US Facebook employees, who have decided to join the testing of Facebook's new dating product."

It has been said in the report that Facebook has told its employees that they use fake data in their dating profile and the company has decided to delete all these data before launching it publicly.

The screenshots have been written further, "Joining the test of this product is entirely voluntary and will not have any effect on your job."
