Phones, watches, health monitors, medical devices, and apparel manufacturers came together to develop connected clothing and accessories. Cameras, doorbells, tools, televisions, thermostats, voice assistants and lighting fixtures are just the beginning of the digitalization of our homes. These wonderful tools of the modern world, some no bigger than a coin, provide incredible abilities and immense convenience; unites and improves our lives in incredible ways.

Unfortunately, they come with fair risks. The combined risks of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, currently approaching 50 billion, are contributing to a big problem for everyone.

These systems are hackable as everybody knows; The data they generate and share are often vulnerable to exposure, and the devices themselves can be used as a platform by attackers to target more important systems in our lives. IoT insecurity represents one of the next major challenges for the tech industry struggling to protect consumers 'trust from cyber threats, which find ways to easily undermine users' security, privacy and security.
